THE HEART BEHIND RICOCHET BREWING

Hey,  Friends! We are Marc and Meaghan Zaichkowsky, the husband and wife team behind Ricochet Brewing. We have lived in the Shuswap for 17 years and are very privileged to call this beautiful place home! Ricochet Brewing was born from a passion for homebrewing. After a work injury altered the course of our construction company, we decided to ricochet off life’s ups and downs and go in a new direction.

Brewed at our manufacturing facility on the shores of Shuswap Lake for the past three years, Ricochet’s beer is locally sourced, locally brewed, and community-focused. What stands out to us most is the creativity within the craft industry with no boundaries in what can be made. Each batch is handcrafted, which means you get to experience the quality of handmade in every glass.

Located in the heart of downtown Salmon Arm, Ricochet is more than just a brewery taphouse. We are on a mission to support independently owned craft beverage makers and local small businesses. Our 36 rotating taps and curated drink menu feature Ricochet Brewing beer alongside a wide selection of BC craft beer and cider, wine, cocktails, and mocktails. Pair it with our own menu or delicious takeout from our community.

At Ricochet Brewing & Taphouse, we believe that enjoying craft beer is about flavour, creativity, and connection, not overconsumption. We’re passionate about the craft behind every pour, and we encourage our guests to savour and appreciate the experience in moderation.

We are committed to promoting responsible drinking. That is why we ID anyone who appears under the age of 30 and uphold a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. Whether you’re sampling a new release or relaxing with friends, we ask that you always consume responsibly, and never forget that great beer is best enjoyed with good judgement.

Community Work

At Ricochet, we know our business wouldn't be what it is today without the support of our local community. That's why we make it a priority to give back whenever we can. In 2023, we launched the Shuswap Brewersfest, a community event celebrating local breweries, wineries, and cideries while raising funds for important causes. In just it's first two years, the festival has contributed over $16,000 to the Salmon Arm Rescue Unit. We're also proud to support and sponsor other community events and initiatives whenever possible.
